Underwater Tutorial

Select the Depth Layer and create a Transparent Layer.  Fill it with Black.  Name it Seaweed_Far.  Load the S_weed.RIF nozzle.  Don’t forget to check the To Selection box.  Move the Scale slider to 20%.  Paint in some seaweed  where the sand and mountains meet.  In the Controls:Adjuster palette move the Opacity slider to 55%.  In the Objects:Floater List palette click on Wet_Sand  and move it below the Rocks Layer.  Your painting should look something like this (29).

With the Seaweed_Far layer selected create a Transparent Layer. Fill it with Black.  Load the PPlants.RIF nozzle (John Derry created this nozzle and gave his permission to use it in this tutorial).  Paint over the rocks until you have something that looks like this (30).  Set the Opacity slider to 90%.  Group this layer with the Rocks layer and name it Rocks & Plants.
