Underwater Tutorial

Select the Depth_1 Layer.  Press Ctrl +C and then Ctrl + V to make a copy of it. Set the Opacity to 8%.

Select the Depth and Surface Layers, Group and Collapse them.  Name this new floater New_Surface.  In the Brushes: palette, select the Cloners brush. Set the Opacity slider to 16%.  Select an area of water on the right side of the visible surface about 1 inch up and towards the left as your clone source.  Re-select a source area as needed.  For practice, make a clone of the painting (Click File/Clone).  When you get what you want smoothing out the hard water line go back to your original painting and complete the clone work.  Drag this floater to the bottom just above the Mtn_3 or 2 floater.  Select the Depth_1 Layer.  Set the Opacity at 12%.   In the Objects:Floater palette select  the Reflections floater and drag it into your painting.  Align it over the fore rocks.  Move this floater in between Seaweed_ Mid layer and the Rocks & Plants layer.  Your painting should look something like this (33).

Congratulations on the completion of this tutorial.  Use the techniques you have learned to create many new and exciting paintings in the future.
