Jungle How To
|

It
was my intention to walk you through the creation of a new nozzle library
and the loading of it with the nozzles necessary to complete this
tutorial. To make this tutorial smaller I have provided this link.
|
|
The
names of the nozzles used to create this tutorial have changed
since they were licensed to MetaCreations. They can be found on the Painter 6 CD. I
will
provide the floater
files, lights and gradients for downloading if you send me an email.
I say this a lot...It is the process of using the techniques contained in
this tutorial that are important...more so than the actual image
content. Now, back to loading our palettes so we can begin painting.

In
the Brush Controls:Nozzle palette
(3), click on the icon next to the big X
in the upper right corner to get to Maximize it (4).
Set the Rank 1 slider to Random.
Click on To Selection. Make sure this box is checked. This is important.
We want everything we paint to be added to the Mask as we paint.
If we don’t this technique will not work the way we want.

Press
Ctrl + 4 to open the Objects palette. If it is not
maximized, click on the icon under the word Floater to do so. The
palette automatically changes to
Objects:Floater List palette (5).
Click on the words Floater/Floater Portfolio…
or press Ctrl + 7, the Objects:Floater
(6)
palette appears.
